Toy Poodle Coats
Colors and markings of our Toy Poodles

Parti (Black and White Parti, Chocolate & White Parti, Silver & White Parti)
Due to their unusual coloration and adorable looks, Parti poodles are becoming more popular every day. The original word "Parti" means more than one and was a name originally given to any dog with more than one color. Over the years it has been changed to reflect a dog with a particular color pattern. A dog that is a white base coat with distinct darker spots, patches or saddling is considered a Parti.  A Tuxedo is a Parti except their special markings form a unique pattern.  See examples below:

Phantom (Black & Silver Phantom, Brown & Tan Phantom, Chocolate & Apricot Phantom)
Phantom poodles are not a different "breed" they are merely a differently marked poodle.  They are not new, they've been around for many decades.  A phantom poodle has the markings, in the same pattern of a Doberman & are born with their markings. Their body is the main color either black or brown and their markings are in either white or tan.  The markings are seen in in the eyebrows, muzzle, chest, and legs, the rest of the dog maintains the MAIN coloring.  See examples below:

Solids (Chocolate, Black, Apricot)
For those who love solid colors, mine sometimes have "added character" with beige ears or sometimes a tuxedo front. My first priorities, however, are disposition, health, and well balanced size. Colors are the fun part and offer the buyer something "designer different"!   See examples below (PHOTOS COMING SOON)
